Dear Church Drop Out,
We the Church of Jesus Christ respectfully repent to both God and you for our negligence in teaching you the culture of the Kingdom. We were too focused on preaching popular messages and discussing our opinions on current events than we were on instructing you in the ways of the Kingdom and the proper methods to drawing closer to God.
This Ecclesia also acknowledges that we devalued you and did not place the proper focus on you and your development. We should have spent more time focused on your growth and assisting you in transforming into the image of Christ. We allowed our own fears of being disliked or unpopular cloud our judgement and make us ineffective in instructing you in the hard truths of Christian Discipleship.
We still love you and want you to come home. We believe in you and promise to do better with reminding you of that every single time we gather.
We have renewed our vow with God and desire to renew our vow with you to be the epitome of the image of Christ, to exalt His name above our own, and be His Church despite the cost.
